Breitling brings its customers a private and unique digital passport, a digital certificate of ownership securely linked to Breitling watch through blockchain technology. This certificate provides great benefits to owners.

Breitling will be extend the use of digital blockchain technology to every single watch manufactureed from now on. So when you have a new Breitling watch, you also need to register your watch to yourself. After this, basically your watch will have an ID and paired with you.

Swiss-based luxury watch manufacturer has chosen to work with blockchain startup Arianee. Paris-based Arianee, is an independent, participative - organization whose mission is to build a global standard for the digital certification of valuable objects by promoting and supporting the adoption of the Arianee protocol. Arianee's protocol uses a system on Ethereum involving so-called non-fungible tokens (NFTs), a way of watermarking an individual object, such as an expensive watch or even conferring individual authenticity on a digital work of art.
