Here are the fintech startups from QNBEYOND Demo Day 2020

QNB Finansbank's accelerator program QNBEYOND graduated their second season startups. Eleven startups who grad in 2020 pitched their startups at QNBEYOND Demo Day 2020 yesterday.

According to QNB Finansbank's CEOTemel Güzeloğlu, 7 of 11 startups are already working with the bank. Also QNB Finansbank's venture capital arm, QNBEYOND Ventures, successfully started to invest in startups, and we will possibly see more deal news from them shortly.

Smart Advice

Smart Advice is a fintech company providing financial solutions for banking, insurance, pension and asset management industries focusing on AI and behavioural finance. Its main aim is to create new financial products and design a new financial experience by offering an all-in-one solution including robo-advice, gamification and social trade. Founded by Onur Yurtsever and Abdurrahman Beşinci. They are already working with QNB Finansbank, QNB Finansinvest and İşbank.

Midas

Midas aiming to be Robinhood of Turkey. In Turkey, buying stocks from NASDAQ could be very costly to customers. Midas wants to solve this problem for investors and bring a commission-free experience for the Turkish market. While you can buy stocks from NASDAQ, it will also be possible to buy stocks in Borsa Istanbul, and this experience will also be commission-free. Founded by Egem Eraslan. They're already made a deal with NASDAQ side and for Turkish market they're waiting for the final approval from Capital Markets Board of Turkey.

Varco

Varco is a mobile-based current account, where customers can exchange between currencies, transfer money, and spend with a Varco Visa debit card worldwide. Varco team has come together in order to create Turkey's first challenger bank. Founded by İbrahim Özdoğan, Elif Gültekin, Batuhan Gültekin and Raad Momani. Their iOS app currently in AppStore, and Android version is coming soon.
